Terebi (テレビ)

Terebi Icon

A modern, high-performance Japanese TV channel selector and player. Designed to be lightweight, beautiful, and incredibly easy to use.

✨ Features

  • Built-in Player: No external apps required! Watch directly inside the app with integrated controls.
  • Japanese TV by Default: Automatically loads a curated list of Japanese channels on startup.
  • M3U Import:
    • URL: Paste a link to your favorite IPTV list.
    • File: Load local .m3u or .m3u8 files.
    • Paste: Directly paste list content into the app.
  • Modern UI: Smooth animations, hover previews, and a sleek dark theme.
  • Cross-Platform: Works on Linux and Windows.

🚀 How to use (Windows)

Download the latest Terebi.exe here!

  1. Open Terebi.exe.
  2. Browse the channels and click "WATCH LIVE" to start playing.
  3. Use the on-screen controls to pause or adjust volume.

🛠️ Building the Executable

If you want to build the .exe yourself:

  1. Ensure you have Python installed.
  2. Run the build.bat file.
  3. Your standalone executable will be created in the dist folder.

The app loads the following list by default: https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/countries/jp.m3u
